THE SIGIRIYA PALACE
There are three separate sections that make up the Sigiriya Palace complex. On the lower east side of the top is the outer palace, also known as the lower palace. In the high western section is the inner palace, often known as the upper palace. The south is taken up by the palace garden. Three parts come together in a sizable, exquisite pool carved out of rock. The palace’s design and floor plan are still readily apparent.
THE LION CASE
The most notable is the Lion Staircase. striking characteristics. Impressive preservation of the two enormous paws and bricks encircling the limestone The top of the Sigiriya rock can be accessed through this Lion’s Paw. It is claimed that in the past there existed the composition of a whole lion. You must pass through the entrance gate’s lion’s mouth in order to reach the top of the rock castle.
